There’s nothing that screams fall to us more than football and apple cider. So why not bring both to your family gathering this Thanksgiving? With this Apple Cider Honey recipe, you’ll be sure to win the cocktail competition in true GameDay style!
GameDay & Apple Cider Honey (Hot or Cold)
4oz Apple Cider
½ oz Honey Syrup* (see instructions below)
Heatproof glass or mug (if served hot)
Double rocks glass (if served cold)
Fresh apple slice
*Instructions for Honey Syrup
Honey to water (3:1). Add 3 cups honey and 1 cup warm water. Stir until water is completely mixed in.
Channel your inner mixologist! Here’s how to combine it all:
Hot: Heat apple cider to the desired temperature. Combine apple cider, vodka, and honey syrup into a heatproof glass or mug. Stir and garnish with a fresh apple slice and cinnamon stick.
Cold: Combine ingredients into a shaker, add ice and shake vigorously until cold. Strain over fresh ice into a double rocks glass then garnish with a fresh apple slice and cinnamon stick.

Cranberry Spiked Sauce - What you’ll need:
1 (12-ounce) bag fresh cranberries, rinsed, drained, and sorted
1 cup of sugar
1/3 cup GameDay All American vodka
3 tablespoons orange-flavored liqueur (Grand Marnier or Triple Sec)
The chef is in! How to score in the kitchen with this sauce:
Grab a medium saucepan, place over medium heat, and combine cranberries, sugar, and ½ cup of water.
Bring to a boil and stir until sugar is dissolved.
Reduce heat to moderately low, then simmer and stir often until thickened (Keep your eyes peeled on the goal here). 15 minutes.
Transfer to a medium bowl to cool – stirring it often. 30 minutes.
Now it’s game time! Stir in the GameDay All American Vodka and liqueur.
Transfer to a serving bowl, then cover and refrigerate until chilled. Sit for 2 hours.
